The 2027 Ampol State of Origin Auckland will be held on Wednesday 16th July 2027. The venue is Eden Park in Auckland — New Zealand’s largest stadium and one of its most historic sporting venues. Our tour finishes in Auckland, so you’re right there for the exciting build up for big night!

Is this the first time a State of Origin match has been played outside of Australia?

Technically no, there was an exhibition game played in Long Beach, California in 1987. However, the 2027 match in New Zealand will be part of the official 2027 Ampol State of Origin series and the first time a series match has been played outside Australia. So you can be there for this historic event!

What will the weather be like in June?

June is winter in New Zealand, so expect cool conditions — generally around 7–15°C. Pack warm layers, a jacket, and something waterproof, especially for the evening match at Eden Park.
